Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola claims that Jeremy Doku could be sidelined for “a while” with an injury he picked up against Ipswich earlier this month.
The Belgian was not in the squad for the 3-1 win over Chelsea at the weekend and, asked when the player could return to fitness, Guardiola replied:
“A while. I don’t know how much. But a while. He will not be ready for Wednesday for sure, I don’t think. For Arsenal, we’ll see.”
Guardiola’s remarks confirm he won’t be available to face Club Brugge and he is also a big doubt for the club’s next Premier League fixture.
