Arsenal are set to release their new home kit for the 2023/24 campaign this week, but Gio Queiroz and Beth Mead jumped the gun a little on Tuesday.
Wearing the new shirt, Queiroz and Mead posed for the above photo, which Queiroz then posted to her Instagram story.
In fairness to Queiroz, the new shirt has already been widely shared on social media following a number of other leaks, including one showing some of the men’s players wearing it.
But this is the first time an Arsenal player themselves has shared such a picture on their own platforms.
Reports suggest that both the Arsenal men’s and the women’s teams will wear next season’s home shirt for their final games of the season this weekend.
That means the shirt will get its on-field debut on Saturday, when the Arsenal Women face Aston Villa at Meadow Park at 14:30 BST.
The Arsenal men’s team will also then wear the shirt on Sunday, as the Gunners take on Wolves at the Emirates Stadium at 16:30 BST.
As a result, we know Arsenal will have to officially unveil the new kit before the end of the week.
Leaked images show that the home kit will have a “Better Scarlet” red colour for the main body, with white raglan sleeves, a zap-line pattern, and a golden trim.
The shirt will feature golden logos on the front, golden Adidas stripes on the sleeves, and a golden zap on the back of the collar.
One of the new goalkeeper kits is also set to be unveiled, with leaks showing it will be a black shirt and shorts with white stripes and logos.
The outfielders’ home shirt has also been spotted on sale early in some locations, with Twitter user @gilangbhisma sharing the above picture on social media.
