West Ham plan summer moves to sign three British Premier League central midfielders
According to Football Transfers, Southampton star James Ward-Prowse, Chelsea ace Conor Gallagher and Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay are all on the Hammers’ radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
Signing multiple players to replace Rice is probably the way forward this summer for Moyes.
Let’s face it, if West Ham were to replace Dec with just one player, there are only a few on the planet who could do the same job as the England international.
Whilst I think Ward-Prowse, Gallagher and McTominay are all fairly underwhelming names in isolation, they would all add so much to the current West Ham team as a collective.
And the three of them would probably cost around the £100-120 million mark.
I think that they’ll all be very decent additions for West Ham if Moyes brings them to the London Stadium.
However, I’m not suggesting for one minute that any of them are fit to lace Declan Rice’s boots.
