West Ham handed huge Viktor Gyokeres boost as report makes £14.5 million transfer claim
A Bola reckon that the Hammers and Sporting Lisbon are battling to sign the Coventry City front-man for just £14.5 million this summer.
What an incredible deal that would be for West Ham, if Moyes does in fact manage to bring him to the London Stadium.
Gyokeres is a willing runner, and is superb at stretching the opposition’s backline by making tireless runs into the channels – something that David Moyes obviously absolutely loves – just look at his dependance on Michail Antonio.
The Coventry forward is equally as strong with both feet and is very good at playing with his back to goal, holding up the ball and turning defenders. He has been labelled as a ‘lethal’ striker by TEAMtalk.
The 25-year-old bagged 22 goals and 12 assists in 50 appearances for the Sky Blues this season (Transfermarkt).
He has 43 goals and 17 assists in 116 career games for Coventry under his belt (Transfermarkt).
West Ham signing Viktor Gyokeres for just £14.5 million seems like an absolute no-brainer for me this summer.
Hopefully the Hammers beat Sporting Lisbon to his signature.
