Bukayo Saka, the star forward from Arsenal, has teamed up with the BigShoe charity to fund housing for 26 families in Turkey who were left homeless by devastating earthquakes in February.
This generous act has highlighted Saka’s character off the pitch, showing his commitment to use his platform to help those in need.
Back in February, Turkey faced a series of severe earthquakes that led to the death of more than 50,000 people and left over two million without homes.
Saka has stepped in to support the survivors, providing accommodation for 26 families in the eastern Turkish cities of Hatay, Adiyaman, Kahramanmaras, and Malatya.
BigShoe took to Twitter to share Saka’s contribution, highlighting the extent of his support, which included fully equipped accommodations.

BigShoe is known for its efforts to help children worldwide.
The charity, backed by several other football stars including Mesut Ozil, has found a faithful collaborator in Saka.
His association with BigShoe is not new; he previously funded 120 surgeries for children in Nigeria, demonstrating his consistent commitment to charitable causes.
Saka, moved by the tragic news of the earthquakes, knew immediately that he wanted to offer his assistance.
He said, “I’ve seen the devastating news on social media and on TV and I knew right away that I really want to help the people affected by this tragedy. To be able to give something back means a lot to me.”
