West Ham are eyeing up an exciting move to sign Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili this summer.
According to a report from The Athletic, West Ham have performed several scouting missions on Giorgi Mamardashvili recently leading up to the summer transfer window.

Hammers manager David Moyes currently has Lukasz Fabianski and Alphonse Areola as his two senior goalkeeping options.
However, the former is now 38 and only has one year remaining on his deal at the London Stadium.
So signing a top-class goalkeeper with youth on his side this summer would certainly make sense…
Report links West Ham with hugely exciting move to sign giant La Liga star Giorgi Mamardashvili
The Athletic reckon that the Hammers have been watching the Valencia goalkeeper very closely indeed.
Described by Verge Magazine as ‘excellent’ and a ‘rising star’, Mamardashvili really is an elite goalkeeper in the making.
Standing at 6ft 6in, the Georgian cuts an incredibly imposing physique and he commands his penalty area with real authority. He is a really good shot-stopper, as you would expect someone of his size and stature to be.
The 22-year-old is really highly rated in Spain. He has conceded 71 goals in 63 games for Valencia and has kept 18 clean sheets in the process (Transfermarkt).
Not bad for a goalkeeper playing for a team who nearly got relegated from La Liga eh!
The Valencia ace would be a huge upgrade on Fabianski and Areola at the London Stadium in my opinion.
Sempre Inter recently claimed that Valencia will demand around €50 million (£42 million) for the giant goalkeeper.
I really can’t see West Ham paying that kind of money for Giorgi Mamardashvili unfortunately. So unless Valencia lower their demands, I can’t see us signing the Georgian this summer.
