It was recently claimed that West Ham are pushing hard to sign the 25-year-old Leicester ace.
With David Moyes desperate to add some real pace and power to his Hammers front-line, Barnes would be the perfect summer recruit.
And it seems as though West Ham are in a great position to being the Leicester star to East London…
Telegraph journalist Matt Law makes big claim about West Ham pursuit of Harvey Barnes
Law has suggested that the Hammers are in pole position to sign the 25-year-old forward this summer.
What an unbelievable signing he would be for West Ham.
Harvey Barnes is an exceptional player and has absolutely everything that West Ham need.
Foxes of Leicester have described Barnes as ‘sensational’, and they’re spot on – he really is an elite player.
He has pace and power in abundance, and with 13 Premier League goals this season, he clearly has an eye for the back of the net as well.
Harvey Barnes has the kind of ability to take West Ham to a completely different level next season and beyond. He would certainly provide Moyes with an option that he doesn’t currently possess.
Leicester allegedly want round £40 million for his services.
In my book, that’s great value, and Moyes should not hesitate to make his move.
