West Ham United are apparently close to sign Sheraldo Becker from Union Berlin this summer.
According to a report from Sport Bild, Union Berlin attacker Sheraldo Becker could be West Ham bound before the end of the summer transfer window.

However, Union Berlin are now trying to sell him for around £17 million, and the Hammers boss David Moyes is said to be close to bringing him to the London Stadium, although Burnley and Fulham want him as well.
Becker has allegedly just switched agents and is now represented by Volker Struth’s agency Sports360 (Sport Bild). And it seems as though that could have been part of the process needed to bring him to East London…
West Ham are now close to signing absolutely rapid winger Sheraldo Becker
Sport Bild reckon that the Hammers are closing in on the signing of the Suriname international from Union Berlin this summer.
I think he would be a tremendous addition to Moyes’s ranks, and would offer the Scot something completely different inside the final third.
£17 million would represent very good value for West Ham, especially considering the fact that he has exactly what we lack in the final third – blistering pace.
Give Me Sport recently described the Union Berlin ace as ‘lightening quick’. He can play on either wing, in the number 10 position or even as an auxiliary striker.
Becker has a really impressive attacking output to match his rapid speed as well, and can play anywhere along the front-line.
He bagged a really impressive 12 goals and 10 assists in 48 games for Union Berlin this season just gone (Transfermarkt).
If Moyes brings Sheraldo Becker to West Ham for just £17 million this summer, I think it would be great business for the club.
