- It is Ziyech’s second failed move this year after a January deal to PSG collapsed
Hakim Ziyech’s £8million move to Al-Nassr is off after the Moroccan forward failed to agree terms on a three-year contract.
It’s unclear whether the deal can be resurrected later in the window. Though club officials were said to have been left disappointed according to reports from the country of a failed medical.
Ziyech remains surplus to requirements at Chelsea with this deal marking his second failed transfer from Stamford Bridge following the collapse of a prospective January loan move to PSG.
On that occasion Chelsea failed to complete the paperwork on his potential move to PSG before the deadline.
That left the French champions furious, with Chelsea bosses coming under fire for the way they handled negotiations.

Ziyech will not be joining Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr, who finished second in the league
Ziyech, who was signed for £33m from Ajax in 2020, played 24 times last season but the majority of his appearances came off the bench.
The 30-year-old still has two years left on his contract, in what has been a dismal spell with the Blues.
Chelsea will now sound out alternative clubs in the hope of finding a landing spot for the winger.
Noni Madueke and Christopher Nkunku are among the players recently signed to replace the Moroccan.
Meanwhile, Al-Nassr agreed a deal with Inter Milan for midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, who opted to join last season’s Pro League runners-up over Barcelona.
