Thomas Muller remains coy on the future of Tottenham superstar Harry Kane
Thomas Muller, the Bayern Munich star, has seemingly grown weary of the incessant speculation surrounding the future of Tottenham Hotspur’s superstar, Harry Kane.
For quite some time now, the English striker has been linked with a potential departure from Spurs, as his contract is set to expire next summer with no signs of an extension from his side as things stand.
Numerous clubs, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, PSG, and Bayern Munich, have shown keen interest in securing his services this summer. It was in the previous summer when Bayern Munich publicly expressed their admiration and interest in Kane.
Regarded as the ideal replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who made a move to Barcelona last summer, Kane has captured the attention of Bayern Munich. In their initial attempt to secure his signature, the German giants made a £60 million offer to Spurs.
However, this bid was swiftly rejected by the North London club, who are holding out for a fee of £100 million. Bayern Munich are reportedly preparing a new offer of £80 million, hoping that Kane will actively push for the move to expedite the deal.
Nevertheless, the elongated Kane saga has left one Bayern Munich star feeling exasperated, as he emphasized that discussing the matter holds little value until a concrete development occurs.
Speaking about the situation, here is what Muller had to say about Harry Kane
“I’ve actually told myself that as long as something is not done, it’s not worth talking about. I don’t know anyone that doesn’t like him”
With Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy displaying unwavering resolve in retaining their star asset, and Kane remaining keen on a move away from the club, the saga surrounding his future is set to persist.
