West Ham United are reportedly set to make a huge new offer for Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha.
According to a report from A Bola, West Ham are lining up a bid worth €57.7 million (£50 million) for Fulham ace Joao Palhinha.

The East London outfit recently had a £40 million bid for Palhinha, 28, rejected by Fulham.
Hammers boss David Moyes is obviously keen to bolster his central defensive ranks at the London Stadium in the summer transfer window, with Declan Rice having left to join Arsenal.
And it seems as though Palhinha is the man who the Scot really wants…
West Ham to make £50 million Joao Palhinha bid
A Bola reckon that the Hammers are set to test Fulham’s resolve for a second time by making a mammoth bid for the Portugal international.
If West Ham are successful with our offer, Palhinha will become our second most expensive signing of all-time, behind only Lucas Paqueta.
The 28-year-old is a very competent central midfielder, and had more tackles and interceptions than anyone else in the Premier League last season – 51 ahead of Rice!
However, I just feel like there is better value out there in the transfer market this summer.
He’s not the best passer in the world, and I believe Moyes should be looking at the likes of Sofyan Amrabat, Khephren Thuram and Ibrahim Sangare instead.
Joao Palhinha wouldn’t be the worst signing in the world for West Ham. In fact, he’d be a very solid addition.
However, £50 million is way too much money for us to be paying for a 28-year-old and in my opinion, Fulham probably won’t even accept that bid anyway.
