The 25-year-old played a key role for Brazil in the World Cup out in Qatar this winter just gone.
He’s now the first name on the team sheet of Hammers boss David Moyes and he won’t be far off that for the Brazil manager either.
However, there was some really strange news that began to circulate on Twitter yesterday afternoon regarding Paqueta and the Seleção…
A tweet emerged yesterday on Twitter, claiming to be the released Brazil squad for their upcoming internationals in September.
Paqueta was not included in the squad, but it seems as though that was fake news!
There were loads of fans falling for the fake tweet. They should have known though – no way would Brazil be naming their squad for the September internationals now.
Also, there is no way that Lucas Paqueta wouldn’t be in the Brazil squad!
The former Lyon man is an exceptional player and he really came into his own for West Ham during the second half of the season.
Whenever the Brazil squad is announced, you can be sure that the 25-year-old Hammers play-maker will be included in it!
