Area Napoli reckon that Juve are ready to make a move to sign the Canada international.
Losing out on the signing of David would be a big blow for the Hammers.
He possesses electric pace and is a real live-wire. The Lille ace is a good finisher as well. He has already scored 24 goals in 40 games for his country, and bagged 24 goals in 37 Ligue 1 games for Lille this season (Transfermarkt).
Jonathan David would be an incredible addition for West Ham. His pace, finishing and movement would add so much to Moyes’s attacking ranks.
The Canadian would provide the Scot with a completely different option to what he currently has at his disposal.
£52 million might seem like a lot of money, but I’m convinced that that fee will look like an absolute bargain for David in a few year’s time.
Unfortunately for us though, it seems as though the Hammers will have to fight off interest from Juventus if we are to sign the 23-year-old striker.
