West Ham United reportedly could take a £19 million hit on Gianluca Scamacca this summer, with Inter Milan eyeing up a move for the striker.
Gianluca Scamacca could leave West Ham in the summer transfer window, according to a report from Sport Mediaset, with Inter prepared to pay around €18 million (£16 million) for the Hammers hitman.

Scamacca was signed from Sassuolo in the summer of 2022 for around £35 million (Sky Sports) – so selling him for a £19 million loss is surely not an option for David Moyes.
The Italian has really struggled to establish himself at the London Stadium, but the reason for that is the simple fact that he isn’t suited one little bit to Moyes’s system.
Roma have been strongly linked with a move to sign the Italy international, but Inter are apparently about to be the first club to make a formal offer for him…
West Ham could take a £19 million hit on Gianluca Scamacca
Sport Mediaset reckon that Inter are about to test the Hammers’ resolve with a firm offer for the Italian.
However, surely West Ham won’t accept anything like the reported £16 million bid from the Italian giants.
Scamacca can still be a big hit with the Hammers I’m sure of it. There have been signs during pre-season that Moyes is ready to change his system in order to get the best out of the forward.
Whether that will be by playing two strikers up top, or by bringing the wingers in closer to Scamacca remains to be seen.
I really would like Gianluca Scamacca to remain at West Ham for at least one more season. Moyes needs to give him a proper chance to showcase his true ability.
One thing’s for sure – there’s no way that we should be selling him to Inter for a measly £16 million this summer.
