Jonathan Tah finally breaks silence amidst strong links with summer West Ham move
The 6ft 5in German defender has been speaking to Kicker about his future with Bayer Leverkusen.
Tah responded when asked whether he’d be open to move to the Premier League:
“The market is still open. Anything can happen. Of course, I’m aware of what I have here, and I appreciate that. But I’m the same open and listen to other things. There was also interest from other leagues, but it has always been my goal to play in the Premier League at some point. Because it’s simply the best league. Competing at this level is attractive, of course also at my age.”
I think West Ham should be all over Jonathan Tah this summer.
Moyes definitely needs to add a top-class central defender to his ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
Tah seems like the perfect option to me. However, it is concerning that we didn’t activate his release clause when he was available for an absolute bargain fee.
