West Ham interested in Italian defender

West Ham are at the centre of yet another trasnsfer rumour and the name being mentioned is not among any we have been given by club insiders!

The Italian media claim – as they have about many players before linked with the Hammers have made an 8.1million bid for another defender.

This time it is the Spezia right-back Emil Holm, who appears to be highly rated in Italy with both Juventus and Atalanta supposedly interested him as well.

I doubt that he will go for the £8.1m originally offered as Italian media claim that Spezia will hold out for their valuation of £13m for defender.

Despite Spezia getting relegated, the 23 year old put in some solid displays during his 20 Serie A appearances last term but right now this is the first time such a switch has been moved anywhere and a Hammers move is more than doubtful.

As a result of this and other off the wall speculation Claret and Hugh has re-introduced its rumour rater!
