United States midfielder Yunus Musah could soon be on the move to AC Milan as reports indicate he is closing in on a $22million move from Valencia.
The 20-year-old indicated that he only wished to join the Italian-based club in spite of interest from multiple Premier League clubs – including Fulham and West Ham United.
Musah holds an Italian passport after spending part of his upbringing in the town of Castelfranco Veneto in the northern Italian province of Treviso – over two-and-a-half hours from the San Siro.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the agreement is for a fee of around $19.86m with between $2.2m-3.3m worth of add-ons.
This move will also unite Musah with his fellow USMNT teammate Christian Pulisic, who just joined the Rossoneri this summer in a move from Chelsea.

Musah joined Valencia in 2019 after having spent the seven years prior in the academy at Arsenal.
A reliable playmaker, Musah made 108 appearances for the Valencia first team – scoring five goals.
But a difficult second half to the 2022-23 season saw Los Che drop outside the top-ten by matchday 16 and spent much of the final days of the campaign attempting to stave off relegation.
Musah had dropped out of the plans of current coach Ruben Baraja, leading the player to look elsewhere.
Now at Milan, Musah will be playing under Stefano Pioli for a team that reached the semifinals of the Champions League and finished fourth in Serie A.
It’s been a busy summer of signings for Milan – who in addition to Pulisic have already locked up the transfers of Marco Sportiello, Ruben Loftus-Cheeck, Samuel Chukwueze, Tijiani Reijnders, and Noah Okafor.
