Sergio Ramos could be set for a move to the MLS in the form of LAFC, according to a report.
Ramos is currently a free agent after leaving PSG last summer following two years with the French champions after joining them from Real Madrid.
Though he’s now 37, Ramos has no plans of retiring and seems set to move to the States to join up with his next club, though it won’t be Inter Miami as everyone had thought.
Ramos had been heavily linked with David Beckham‘s side in what would have been a sensational reunion between the two former Real Madrid team-mates, but it’s understood Miami was never a realistic option.
What may be, however, according to Mundo Deportivo, is LAFC, the current MLS champions, which would mean the Spaniard could rekindle his former rivalry with Messi.

Ramos and Messi had been going head to head for well over a decade during their time in Spain, with Ramos in Madrid and Messi with Barcelona.
The two became bitter rivals in that period but rekindled a fine friendship while together in Paris, winning back-to-back Ligue 1 titles together as key cogs in the PSG team.
But both left the club upon their expiration of their contracts last season, with Messi moving quickly to join up with Inter Miami despite links with Barcelona and Saudi Arabia.
Former Barca players Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets have also joined Miami, with Andres Iniesta also linked with a sensational reunion with his ex-Barcelona team-mates.
It would have been a turn up for the books if Ramos was to join the trio in America, but it appears he may now be about to follow in the footsteps of former Madrid team-mate Gareth Bale and move to LA.

Ramos and his wife Pilar Rubio were recently in the country on vacation and Rubio appeared the enjoy the experience
Ramos recently shared pictures of a visit to the US on Instagram. He was in Florida for a UFC event and then headed to New York with his wife Pilar Rubio.
They visited The Met and the MoMa and Rubio was thrilled at spending time in the Big Apple.
‘One of the plans we’ve wanted to do for a long time. Unforgettable experiences: Karl Lagerfield ‘A line of beauty’, Vincent Van Gogh ‘Starry Night’… a whole dream come true,’ she said.
LA are set to kick off their new MLS regular season on August 8 against Colorado.
