Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen are both unlikely to sign new deals with West Ham United under the current ‘leadership structure’.
According to Sean Whetstone – a man with very close contacts with David Sullivan – both Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen will not be committing their long-term futures to West Ham.

Hammers boss David Moyes has endured an absolutely disastrous summer transfer window thus far.

Two key West Ham players are not happy with current leadership structure
Soucek and Bowen are apparently both unhappy with the way that things are being run at the London Stadium, according to Sean Whetstone.
Now, the Czech Republic international is out of contract in the summer of 2024, although the club do have the option to extend that deal by a further 12 months, whilst the 26-year-old Englishman’s contract runs until the summer of 2025.
So if both players fail to put pen to paper on new contracts within the next six months or so, West Ham will definitely have to make a decision about selling them.
Things have to change at West Ham, and fast, if we are to enjoy a successful campaign. Whether that means that one or two people on the transfer committee need to leave in order to make things work remains to be seen.
The supposed internal power struggle between Moyes, Tim Steidten, Mark Noble, Rob Newman and of course – David Sullivan, is seemingly having far reaching consequences.
Not only is Moyes failing to strengthen the squad, but he is also risking a situation whereby some of our best players want to leave as well.
In all fairness I wouldn’t be too bothered if we sold Soucek, but losing Bowen would be a real hammer blow, especially so soon after selling Declan Rice.
Hopefully the West Ham leadership structure is slightly tweaked over the coming weeks, because let’s be honest here, something needs to change very quickly indeed.
