Man United’s Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay look set to join West Ham in whirlwind deal claims a reliable journalist.
West Ham have been heavily linked with moves for Manchester United duo Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire for the best part of a year now.
Speculation has intensified ever since the Hammers sold Declan Rice to Arsenal for £105m.
There has been claim and counter claim about whether West Ham would meet Man United’s asking price for their deposed captain Maguire and David Moyes’ fellow Scotsman McTominay.

Reports had claimed the Red Devils wanted £45m for their midfielder McTominay and as much as £40m for outcast Maguire.
So a deal for either had looked highly unlikely.
But there has been an absolutely massive development according to The Sun reporter Alan Nixon.

Because Man United’s Maguire and McTominay look set to join West Ham in a whirlwind deal claims the reliable journalist.
“West Ham have started the process of signing Manchester United pair Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay by giving them long distance medicals,” Nixon claims on his Patreon account.
‘The double deal is closer than ever’
“The pair are set to move to Hammers and their records have been sent between the clubs in the last 24 hours.
“Hammers will have to get the pair personally checked out but the fact they are accessing the information shows the double deal is closer than ever.”
What a turnaround for West Ham’s barren window which has seen them left as the only Premier League club yet to make a signing in the summer transfer window.
No fees are mentioned in the report.
But even with a compromise on both deals, Manchester United look set to raise at least £60m from the double deal.
And that will help bolster Erik ten Hag’s transfer kitty as he looks to bring in other targets such as Sofyan Amrabat – who has also been linked with West Ham.
