James McArthur announces his retirement from football, with the FA Cup-winning former Crystal Palace and Wigan star bowing out after more than 250 Premier League appearances
Crystal Palace star James McArthur has announced his retirement from football aged 35.
McArthur made 240 Premier League appearances for Palace after then-Eagles boss Neil Warnock signed the midfielder from Wigan in September 2014.
McArthur also earned 32 caps for his native Scotland after making his debut in 2010, scoring four goals before calling time on his international career in 2017.
