While the Everton game that followed offered up much promise, the Toffees weren’t exactly a good yardstick for the rest of the season. Still, with a double-header with Hibernian in the Europa Conference League to come and Burnley next up in the league, there is a great opportunity to plant some firm foundations for the rest of the season.
