Al-Ittihad are reportedly eyeing up a move for Liverpool centre-back Joe Gomez as the Saudi Arabian club plans to raid the Anfield outfit twice this summer.
Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah has courted serious interest from Al-Ittihad in recent weeks despite the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp sounding out that the Egyptian winger is not for sale.

According to a report from the transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Gomez is another Liverpool player high on Al-Ittihad’s shopping list with the club said to be big admirers of the defender’s versatility in the backline.
Liverpool, however, are expected to make it clear that they will not listen to offers for the one time England international ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline with Klopp in no mood to look for a replacement this late in the transfer window.
Klopp has lost Virgil van Dijk to a suspension following the latter’s red card against Newcastle United last time out and with Ibrahima Konate out injured, Gomez is all but certain to start this Sunday against Aston Villa.
