Premier League LIVE: Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka shake off knocks to both start for Arsenal at Bournemouth while Mateo Kovavic comes in for banned Rodri for Man City at Wolves
As kick-off draws ever closer, we’ll shortly be bringing you team news from all five of the 3pm kick-offs covered here…
Five games to focus on at 3pm!
In a busy day of Premier League action we have five seperate games to focus on today, all kicking off at 3pm.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have picked up right where they left off last season in the Premier League and are the only team to have maintained their 100% winning record six games into the season. However, defeat midweek to Newcastle in the EFL Cup could offer the first glimpse of a chink in the Citizens armour to face Gary O’Neil’s Wolves at Molineux.
Meanwhile Arsenal will attempt to continue their unbeaten start to the campaign against a Bournemouth side just outside the relegation zone, as the only non-newly promoted team yet to have recorded their first win this season.
Fresh off the momentum of a big cup win in midweek, Newcastle will look to heap further misery on Vincent Kompany’s Burnley at St James’ Park, but a lack of offensive options with both Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak doubts through injury.
After recovering from a disappointing domestic campaign with their European heroics at the end of last season, David Moyes’ West Ham have enjoyed a much better start this time around, even without talisman Declan Rice. Today they host a Sheffield United side that have remained rooted to the bottom of the table having shipped 17 goals in six games.
And finally fresh off their first win of the season Sean Dyche’s Everton will attempt to continue their newfound momentum against strugglers Luton at Goodison Park. Rob Edwards’ side defied all the odds to arrive in the top flight but with just three goals this season will need a dramatic change in fortunes to have any hope of survival.
Manchester United have endured another faltering start to a Premier League season under Erik ten Hag but they have the opportunity to secure back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time this season when they take on Roy Hodgeson’s Crystal Palace.
