England’s game against Malta this weekend was a bit of a nothing – a flat game with just 2 goals for Gareth Southgate’s team.
But it was a massive day for Cole Palmer, who made his full debut. After speaking to Sky Sports, the England media team caught Cole as he wandered back to the dressing room for a rather candid chat about how his “crazy” week had been since getting the call up.
As always, he’s very confident and tries to shrug it off – but you can see it means a lot.
