With less than a month until the January transfer window opens, goalkeepers are dominating the latest round of transfer rumours.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are both monitoring Mike Maignan’s future at AC Milan, after negotiations over a new contract stalled.
Meanwhile, Newcastle will be in the market for a new goalkeeper as Nick Pope’s shoulder injury has deprived Eddie Howe of his first-choice shot-stopper for months.
Mail Sport exclusively reported on Monday that David de Gea was among the candidates to replace Pope at St James’ Park, with Aaron Ramsdale also linked with a switch to Tyneside since.
The Magpies are also stepping up their interest in Kalvin Phillips, with the England international seemingly certain to leave the Etihad in January.
