Manchester City target Joshua Kimmich “can leave” Bayern Munich if a “suitable offer” arrives this summer, according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.
The journalist has previously raised the prospect of the midfielder being sold by the Bundesliga side but he says that it is “now confirmed” a transfer is likely:

Kimmich has a year left on his contract at Bayern, and they are unwilling to let him go on a free transfer next year.
City are among the 5 teams that the player would consider joining
The 29-year-old has reportedly made it clear that he will only leave Bayern if he is offered the chance of moving to another elite club.
It is believed that City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona are Kimmich’s five preferred destinations. Considering the Premier League champions are the ones who have expressed the most interest in the player, a switch to the Etihad is a strong possibility.
Kimmich’s asking price is rather high
It was reported back in May that Bayern were holding out for a fee in the region of €60m (£51m) for the German international. It is not known whether they have lowered their valuation since then.
Considering Kimmich’s age and his contract situation, you can’t see City paying that much for him. Manager Pep Guardiola is known to be a big fan of the midfielder, though, so that may be a factor in the club pushing ahead with a move. Negotiations could still be long and drawn out if there is disagreement over the fee.
