- While 3-0 down, there were 8 single bets placed for Feyenoord to draw with City
- The Dutch club scored in the 74th, 82nd and 89th minute to secure a 3-3 draw
- It marked City’s sixth straight game across all competitions without a win
When Manchester City took a 3-0 lead against Feyenoord in the Champions League on Tuesday night it appeared as though Pep Guardiola‘s side were cruising to their third win of their 2024-25 European campaign.
However – Feyenoord had other ideas – with the Dutch club scoring in the 74th, 82nd and 89th minute to claim an unlikely 3-3 draw at the Etihad.
Although most believed Feyenoord had no chance of salvaging a point after the first hour of play – there were a handful of punters with Sky Bet who anticipated a comeback.
While they were 3-0 down, there were eight single bets placed at huge odds of 250/1 for Feyenoord to draw with City.
It proved a particularly good return for one punter – who wagered £5 at 250/1 before ultimately cashing out for £958.
Meanwhile, all of the other remaining bets that were placed were £1 or less.

Pep Guardiola has now seen his City side fail to win any of their last six matches
The result is yet another blow to City and manager Guardiola – who have gone six straight games without a win across all competitions.
It doesn’t get any easier for the Sky Blues – as they travel to Anfield to take on league leaders Liverpool on Sunday.
Can they bounce back and close the gap on Liverpool’s lead at the top of the table? Or, will it be City’s seventh straight game without a victory?
We will find out this weekend in what is a fixture that could have far-reaching implications on the Premier League title race.
