Manchester City have been “offered” Jadon Sancho by Manchester United, according to insider The Real Tolmie’s Hairdoo.
It is claimed that Pep Guardiola’s side have been given the chance to snap up the 24-year-old (along with Chelsea and Arsenal) for £40m:
Exclusive – Jadon Sancho has been offered to City in recent weeks. United are ‘willing’ to sell for £40m. Has also been touted to Chelsea and Arsenal. Sancho earns around £275k a week. There are no takers at those wages and another loan is probably best he and Utd can hope for.

Fans on X are very much against re-signing Sancho, who was allowed to leave the Etihad for Borussia Dortmund in 2017:
Definitely a no no

There are plenty of reasons why City wouldn’t want Sancho
It is not only his sky-high wages that would put off the Premier League champions from signing the England international.
Sancho’s poor performances since joining United would also be a major factor, and there are big question marks about his attitude. Since a row with head coach Erik ten Hag at the start of last season, the winger has effectively been frozen out.
City have other transfers lined up
Reports have suggested that the Cityzens are interested in signing Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace. The 25-year-old would be more expensive than Sancho, with his release clause set at £60m, but he is a player with a big future ahead of him.
It is also important to remember that Savio is expected to join the club over the coming days. The Brazilian is poised to seal a permanent switch from Troyes, following a successful loan spell at Girona last campaign.
