Savio “will not be loaned” out by Manchester City next season, according to journalist Romulo Giacomin.
The Brazilian, who is currently playing for his country at the Copa America, is expected to officially sign from Troyes soon but there has been speculation that he would not be staying at the Etihad.
Giocomin, though, insists that Savio will be part of Pep Guardiola’s first-team squad, and supporters on X are delighted that the winger will be sticking around:
Amazing news blues.

Savio has to stay and play as a super sub.. We have zero clutch players from the bench. Only Doku is there.

Why is there so much excitement about Savio?
The 20-year-old burst onto the scene last season during a loan spell at Girona. He racked up 11 goals and 10 assists in 41 appearances for the La Liga club.
Savio has also looked impressive this summer at the Copa America, scoring his first goal for Brazil in his fifth cap against Paraguay at the weekend.
City need more wide options
Although players such as Phil Foden, Julian Alvarez and Bernardo Silva can all do a job in wide areas, the Cityzens only really have two out-and-out wingers in Jeremy Doku and Oscar Bobb.
Savio could prove to be an invaluable addition to the squad, stretching defences with his forward runs and speed. Of course, it hasn’t officially been confirmed that he will remain with City, but it seems that we could well see him plying his trade in the Premier League.
