Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly closing in on the signing of a new attacker as another agrees to leave on loan.
The Seagulls have already been busy in the summer transfer window, spending in excess of £75m to recruit five new players since the appointment of new head coach Fabian Hurzeler.
Arguably the standout arrival thus far is the club-record addition of winger Yankuba Minteh from Newcastle United for around £33m.
Mats Wieffer, Malick Yalcouye and Amario Cozier-Duberry have also made permanent moves to Brighton, with the former joining for around £25m from Feyenoord.
Ibrahim Osman is another who has joined up with the Seagulls this summer, after an agreement was reached with Danish side Nordsjaelland over a £16m permanent transfer in January.

Osman agrees to join Feyenoord on loan
However, the 19-year-old is set for a swift departure, albeit a temporary one, as journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that an agreement has been reached between Brighton and Feyenoord over a loan deal for the winger with no option to buy.
Osman is set to undergo a medical on Tuesday and confirmation of his arrival at the Eredivisie club could be announced on Wednesday.
The two-cap Ghana international contributed with 10 goals and eight assists in 44 appearances for Nordsjaelland last season and has since been involved in all four of Brighton’s pre-season friendlies this summer.
The imminent departure of Osman comes at a time when Brighton are seemingly on the verge of recruiting one of their top summer targets.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Brighton are completing deal to sign attacker Brajan Gruda on a permanent deal from Mainz 05.

Brighton closing in on £25m Gruda signing
Romano adds that the Seagulls have agreed a £25m fee with the Bundesliga outfit to sign the 20-year-old, who has been on Hurzeler’s radar since joining the club in July.
Gruda was signed by Mainz as a 14-year-old in 2018 and eventually made his senior debut for the club in January 2023, just two months after penning his first professional contract.
The versatile attacking midfielder, who can also operate on the right flank, enjoyed a breakthrough season with Mainz in 2023-24, chipping in with four goals and three assists in 28 Bundesliga matches.
Gruda, who has previously been linked with Bayern Munich, is of Albanian descent, but he has represented Germany at youth level from Under-15 to Under-21 level, making seven international appearances for the latter.
Should Gruda finalise his move to Brighton, the youngster would presumably compete with the likes of Minteh, Kaoru Mitoma, Solly March and Simon Adingra for regular starts in Hurzeler’s team.
