Bayern Munich attacker Mathys Tel knows how to make an entrance.
Just seven minutes after enter that match, Tel ripped off a banger of a goal, which brought the crowd to its feet during Bayern Munich’s 4-0 win over Grasshopper Club Zürich. Needless to say, Tel was thrilled with his goal and the team’s effort overall.
“I’m very, very happy with today’s game. It’s always important for us. We worked hard in training with a lot of intensity and heart. I think we’re ready for the game against Wolfsburg on Sunday and we have to get off to a good start in the Bundesliga,” Tel said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Tel’s exact role has not been defined as of yet, but it does feel like he is going to be used more as a winger this season. Will he start? That remains to be seen, but he is certainly making his case for a big role on this team.
