Are you ready for the challenge? Well, here we are again for another day of Teamsheet… Mail Sport’s original football memory game that gives you the chance to show off your knowledge and will excite and infuriate in equal measure.
We’re here every day and when you play you’ll be tasked with naming a starting XI from a random game in Premier League history. You’ll be given a team’s rough formation and how many letters each player’s name is – and the challenge is to get all 11 stars in as few guesses as possible.
Every time you make a guess, a point is added to your total, with the BEST possible score 11 if you got the full team at the first attempt. When you’re done, share your score with friends, family and colleagues but remember, it’s just for fun – and after you are finished, you can choose a team and we’ll produce a second Teamsheet for you.
You can play two matches a day and pick ANY club – from Norwich to Newcastle – that has played in the Premier League since 2006. Premier League matches from 1992-2006 will be available in the coming weeks.
Today, we’re bringing you back to an iconic Manchester derby where City delivered a remarkable 6-1 victory over United at Old Trafford in 2011, but can you remember who was in their starting XI that day?
Best of luck!
