Joao Pedro decided Saturday’s well-contested match between Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester United with a dramatic 95th-minute winner.
Simon Adingra was given the straightforward task of floating a delivery to an unmarked Pedro, who easily nodded the ball past Andre Onana to give the Seagulls a 2-1 victory.
Manchester United have lost 47% of their Premier League matches against Brighton – a higher percentage than any of their other meetings in the competition.

Former Manchester United attacker Danny Welbeck put Brighton ahead in the first half when he poked in from close range, and he almost doubled his tally when he hit the bar in the 58th minute. Amad Diallo leveled shortly after, and United were later denied the lead due to a tight offside call against Joshua Zirkzee.
Brighton head coach Fabian Hurzeler has taken six points from his first two matches at the helm.
“It was very emotional, always when you get the win in the last minute it is,” he told BBC Match of the Day. “I think we deserved to win, we had a good game – not a perfect game. There were also situations where United had the chance to win the game.”
