Hello everyone! It’s been a while since the last edition of “Thomas Müller’s Monthly Musings”, the last of which was way back in March when Thomas Tuchel was still Bayern Munich coach. I’ve had a lot happen in those six months, but now we’re back! In the build-up to the September edition of this series (which gets published on Müller’s birthday), you can catch up on the editions we missed by reading their syntheses here:
April 2024
Müller acknowledged Bayer Leverkusen’s black magic superiority in the 2023/24 season as Bayern could not keep up with Die Werkself at all, recapped the Champions League tie against Arsenal FC (which Bayern won) and Germany’s wins over France and the Netherlands, and reveals which ready-to-go snacks he prepares (nuts, fresh berries and a protein shake).
May 2024
Müller wrote about the 2-2 draw with Real Madrid in the first leg of the UCL semifinals [we’ll forget the second leg ever happened], the MD32 game against Stuttgart (which Bayern needed to win to secure second place, but lost), and launched his new protein shake “RDY”.
June 2024
The EUROs were right around the corner and Germany fans were actually excited to watch the Germans take on Europe after Julian Nagelsmann got off to a good start as NT coach; Müller said that the players couldn’t hear the coach’s instructions during a public training session. Thomas also previewed their friendly games before the Euros tournament proper and revealed a partnership with Seeberger (prediction app for the Euros)
