After failing to land Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah in the 2024 summer transfer window, Bayern Munich may simply go back for him next year — on a free.
According to transfers journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Bavarians are favorites to land the 28-year-old Germany international, who started every game available this summer at EURO 2024.

Bayern are the clear favourites to sign Jonathan Tah on a free transfer in 2025 as they already have an agreement with the player. Barcelona will keep monitoring Tah’s situation, as will some Premier League clubs [@FabrizioRomano]
FC Barcelona are always in the mix with a Bayern transfer, it seems. Former Germany coach Hansi Flick serves as the Barça connection now, but Bayern’s long courtship of Tah this summer should keep them on the inside track. It certainly seems like the player’s camp does not blame the Rekordmeister for the breakdown in negotiations.
