Manchester United are reportedly targeting three left-backs ahead of the upcoming January transfer window, with concerns over the fitness of Luke Shaw.
Manchester United have reportedly identified three left-back targets for the January transfer window.
The Red Devils have endured a tricky start to the 2024-25 Premier League campaign, collecting just three points from their opening three contests.
A 1-0 success over Fulham at Old Trafford on the opening weekend raised hopes of a good start, with Joshua Zirkzee netting on his competitive debut for the club.
Since then, Erik ten Hag‘s side have suffered back-to-back defeats, losing 2-1 at Brighton & Hove Albion before suffering a sobering loss against Liverpool.
Following the first international break of the season, the Red Devils will return to action with a trip down to St Mary’s where newly-promoted Southampton await on September 14.

Man United ‘identify’ left-back targets
According to Give Me Sport, Manchester United have made the acquisition of a first-team left-back a top priority ahead of the January transfer window.
The report claims that Fulham’s Antonee Robinson is a serious contender for a switch to Old Trafford at the start of 2025 from Craven Cottage.
The 27-year-old has enjoyed a productive beginning to the campaign as part of Marco Silva‘s side, providing two assists in three Premier League matches.
As well as Robinson, it is understood that the Red Devils are keeping a close eye on the situation of Milos Kerkez on the South coast at Bournemouth.
The Hungary international joined the Cherries from Eredivisie giants AZ Alkmaar during 2023 and has since made 36 competitive appearances in England.

Man United also considering Brest defender?
On top of Robinson and Kerkez, it is believed that Ten Hag’s troops are also considering a swoop for Brest defender Bradley Locko in January.
The youngster helped the Ligue 1 outfit finish third in the league season, meaning that they will compete in the Champions League for the first time in their history.
By the time that Locko potentially completes a move to Old Trafford, Man United will be finishing off the final two matches of their League Phase in the Europa League.
Although United’s interest in Locko is genuine, it is understood that Fulham’s Robinson and Bournemouth’s Kerkez are more realistic signings for the English powerhouses.
