According to a report from kicker journalist Frank Linkesh (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich’s plans for using João Palhinha will start to take shape.
As the English weeks start to mount, the Portuguese midfielder will see a bigger role in the squad’s central midfield:
João Palhinha is expected to play a bigger role with the mid-week games coming up soon. Firstly, Vincent Kompany is planning on rotating his squad more often. Secondly, Bayern will soon start facing strong attacking teams that can exploit the gaps in the middle of the pitch, which is why Palhinha was signed in the first place.
The Bayern Munich midfield situation will be one to watch. How much Vincent Kompany plans to rotate will be closely watched by fans and pundits alike.
