Bayern Munich took a huge gamble when they signed a lad named Mathys Tel who played less than five games for Stade Rennais the season before. Now, we all see what he can do, but isn’t getting a lot of minutes. The player himself knows why and wants to improve himself and his form so he can get his chance:
Mathys Tel told @kicker he’s aware “that I didn’t play well in the first three games”, which is why he can completely understand why he wasn’t considered. Now he wants to repay as quickly as possible the trust that was placed in him through the contract extension until 2029 and present himself in better form again – just like in pre-season.
