But Pavlović, a defensive midfielder by trade, was always working hard away from the spotlight, just until the spotlight — and team needs — found him. And since breaking into Thomas Tuchel’s squad rotation, as well as the German men’s national team under Julian Nagelsmann, the 20-year-old has been nothing short of a revelation.
