One Chelsea player has come out this weekend and put his good form so far this season purely down to his new head coach at the club, Enzo Maresca.
The Italian has come in from Leicester this season and he has had the world against him in attempting to turn Chelsea’s fortunes around and get them competing at the very top once again, something that a few managers have come in and failed to do before him.

Maresca has started very well as new Chelsea boss and the results are really starting to be strung together now. The players are turning up, and the football is looking good in periods in recent games.
Some players are really thriving under Maresca and under the competition in the squad, one of whom is centre back Levi Colwill, who has been nothing short of colossal so far this season.
Colwill credits Maresca for his form
The England international has been speaking to London World this weekend and he has gone into some detail on why he is playing so well. He puts it down to Maresca’s influence.
Colwill said on his good form:
“I think it’s due to the gaffer. He’s given me a lot of confidence and put a lot of trust in me to play the football, to start it from the back. I can just say thank you to him for letting me play my football and for being good at pushing me.”
Big compliments to the gaffer and the effect he is having.
