Well, I mean talk about backing yourself and having confidence in your own ability. A transfer target has certainly got that after his latest comments this week.
There was a transfer saga this summer that didn’t end well for Chelsea, at least that is if you were one of those fans that wanted this transfer to happen.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now watching NEW Premier League striker name THIS season!!
Chelsea seemingly tried to do a deal to sign striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli all summer, right up until the final day of the window. In the end the move failed as it looks like Chelsea just didn’t want to pay the full amount that it would take to get this deal done, when wages and fee etc were all added in.
Osimhen then decided to go and join Galatasaray in Turkey just so he could play, as he was unlikely to be going to be getting any minutes if he stayed at Napoli. Chelsea are still keen.
Osimhen says he is one of a few players in the world
In some words picked up by The Daily Mail this week, Osimhen has certainly backed his own ability.
He says:
“I am worth over 100 million euros. There are few players in the world like me, who have reached such style and success. It all relates to my characteristics, what I do, and my quality. Therefore, I believe I deserve it.”
Well, there is confidence and there is arrogance. I don’t know if this is verging on a bit arrogant to be honest? I rate that he backs himself, but there is a fine line.
