It’s been over a year since Neymar Jr. left Paris Saint-Germain after the capital club sold him to Al-Hilal for €90 million. Nonetheless, the Brazilian has been out of the football spotlight due to injury.
Neymar has been out since October 2023 after suffering a cruciate ligament tear while playing for Brazil’s national team. The veteran forward should be returning soon, and it will be interesting to see what type of football shape he’s in.
The former PSG standout will look to show the football world that he can still play at a high level, especially with the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching in less than two years.
Diario SPORT reports that Barcelona are looking to sign Neymar on a free transfer once his contract with Al-Hilal expires next June. The club hopes to reach an agreement in January when Neymar will be allowed to discuss options with other teams.
