Cole Palmer has named his ultimate five-a-side team of players he has played with and it includes one name few would have seen coming.
Palmer has become a superstar since swapping Man City for Chelsea last summer, claiming the PFA Young Player of the Year award at the end of last season.
He has picked up where he left off last term with six goals and four assists in Chelsea’s opening six Premier league games.
Palmer may just be 22 years of age but he has already played with a host of world class players at both club and international level.
And he was asked in a clip on the EFL’s TikTok account to name a dream five-a-side team from stars he has had as team-mates.

He replied: ‘in goal I’m going to go with James Trafford because I’ve played with him at England for many years and I think he’s going to be a top keeper.’
Palmer and Burnley stopper Trafford were both key members of the England U21 side that went all the way at the Euros in 2023 under Lee Carsley.
Palmer added: ‘My two centre-backs will be John Stones – because I think he’s an amazing player and a great person.
‘Thiago Silva’s the next one. Really good player with a lot of experience.
And there were no surprises when it came to the two men who would be playing further up the hypothetical pitch.

Manchester City duo Kevin De Bruyne (left)and Erling Haaland were included in his team
‘My two forwards are going to be Kevin De Bruyne – everyone knows what he can do – and Erling Haaland – I don’t really need to explain much about him.’
That meant Silva was the sole Chelsea player in the five… and he left the club in the summer.
Palmer has helped Chelsea turn their fortunes around this season with the Blues currently sat fourth in the table, just two points shy of leaders Liverpool.
