Another report surfaced on Sunday confirming that Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Désiré Doué is unhappy with how his first few months in the French capital have gone after he joined the current Ligue 1 champions this past summer.
Doué completed a €50 million move to the Parc des Princes from Stade Rennais, turning down interest from Bayern Munich. Staying in Ligue 1 was seen as the right step for the young Frenchman to continue his development.
While it’s still early days for the French youth international at PSG, he hasn’t quite lived up to expectations yet. According to L’Équipe, Doué is feeling “disappointed” and “frustrated” with how things have unfolded so far.
Despite his struggles, the club remains confident in his potential. Manager Luis Enrique sees the midfielder as a key part of PSG’s future plans.
Report confirms Désiré Doué’s unhappiness so far at PSG
Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported on Sunday that Doué is frustrated with his lack of playing time but isn’t thinking about a winter transfer. A loan move isn’t on the table either.
Now, back to full fitness, he’s determined to give his all. His contract with PSG runs until 2029. Anfield Watch reported this week that Liverpool are monitoring Doué’s situation, as the club have been long-time admirers of the 19-year-old attacking talent.

While pulling off this deal won’t be easy, Doué’s struggles for game time at PSG this season could make him eager to move on next summer.
