David Moyes left his post as West Ham United manager back in May, with Julen Lopetegui coming in to replace him.
And now it seems like an emotional reunion could be on the cards for West Ham.
David Moyes worked wonders during his time at the London Stadium, and it’s fair to argue that he was under-appreciated by the Hammers fans on the whole.
The 61-year-old Scot recently suggested that he left West Ham after David Sullivan withdrew a new contract offer in February of this year.
It was the right time for Moyes to leave, but the Hammers owners got the replacement wrong by appointing Julen Lopetegui.
I have no doubt that Moyes will secure another Premier League job sooner rather than later.
So what next for the former Hammers chief?
David Moyes reunion now on the cards for West Ham
The Scot has been out of work since he left the Hammers six months ago.
Now he could be set for a return to management though.
That’s because Leicester City have sacked Steve Cooper, as announced via their official X account:
Moyes has been heavily linked with the Leicester City job recently (talkSPORT).
And we actually called it right here on Hammers News that our former gaffer could be named as the new Foxes boss just in time for our match against them on December 3rd.
That’s now looking like a real possibility.
Whatever your thoughts are on Moyes, it will be extremely strange seeing him in the opposing dug-out, if he does get the Leicester City job.
He definitely took us to a whole new level entirely during his four-and-a-half year stint at the London Stadium.
