We’re back for some more Monthly Musings from everyone’s favorite player! In this edition, Thomas Müller recaps the last two big games that Bayern Munich played: against Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga and Aston Villa in the Champions League.
Top match against Leverkusen – dominance is back
The top match against Leverkusen showed where our FCB is currently heading. The 1:1 draw doesn’t really reflect how convincingly we performed. Another indication of this for me was the very defensive game plan of Leverkusen, mind you the 90-point champions from last season. A clear sign for me: We’re on the right track and our opponents can sense that too.
The training work is going well, we feel comfortable in the new system and know exactly what the coach wants from us. No question marks, just exclamation marks at the moment.
I’m already looking forward to the Bundesliga top match against Frankfurt. We’ll do everything we can to give our fans something extra to celebrate on the last Wiesn weekend ⚽️
Champions League – Small setback on the way to the Finale Dahoam
As expected, Aston Villa were a tough opponent. The 1:0 defeat hurts, but it’s not a blow for us. Thanks to the brilliant 9:2 win on the first matchday, we have a very good goal difference and still have six more games in the group stage to get our position in the table right.
I am convinced that we still have many victorious Champions League evenings ahead of us this season on the way to our big goal: the final dahoam.
Müller’s health treat – Vitamin D is a no-brainer
When it comes to health, I’m always on the ball and like to try out new things. But sometimes there are things that are simply a no-brainer. Vitamin D is one of them for me.
Why? I have three good reasons:
Our body needs vitamin D for important metabolic processes (bones, regeneration, immune system, etc.). Without the additional intake of vitamin D, I would definitely be undersupplied. It is very easy to take vitamin D as a dietary supplement – simply as a tablet or capsule. That is the current scientific status.
Just imagine: According to several studies, around 80% of the German population is vitamin D deficient. That’s quite a number.
If you are unsure about the correct dosage, please talk to your trusted doctor. For me, vitamin D is definitely part of my daily diet. With this in mind, dear Müller Mail family, stay healthy.
Thank you for your support and keep your chin up,
Your Thomas
