A report on Friday revealed that Paris Saint-Germain are looking to sign a new winger next summer, with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah on their radar. Nonetheless, another club is attempting to ensure they secure the veteran next year.
The Ligue 1 side has struggled to score goals in the UEFA Champions League so far. Enrique’s side has only recorded one goal in two matches, and this entire season will determine whether this is a short-term issue or a problem they must address next summer.
With Salah potentially on PSG’s radar, one Saudi Arabia club are looking to act fast to ensure they land the Egyptian and don’t lose him to the Parisians or any other European side.
CaughtOffside reports, citing sources, that Saudi Pro League giants Al-Ahli are engaged in discussions to secure Salah at present. While it’s also understood that Salah’s priority remains to stay at Liverpool, the report notes that he has refused to rule out a potential transfer to the Emirates.
The report concludes that Al-Hilal would be offered a three-year contract with the option of another year if both parties are happy with the arrangement.
In the past, PSG have been linked to Salah, but their priority is to bring in a younger player than the veteran forward. So, right now Al-Hilal likely is the favorite to land the Liverpool ace.
