TEAMTalk recently revealed that Liverpool are not alone in its pursuit of Karim Adeyemi, with Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain also eyeing the forward for potential moves in 2025.
Despite speculation about several players, the Parisians didn’t chase after any forwards. Even after losing Kylian Mbappé, they held off and let others, like Bradley Barcola, step into those key roles.
Nonetheless, with the Ligue 1 side struggling to score as of late, they could reevaluate the attacking group next year. TEAMTalk’s report notes that PSG manager Luis Enrique is reportedly a big fan of the 22-year-old, who is currently under contract until 2027.
So far this season, Adeyemi has made an impressive impact, tallying five goals and five assists in just seven matches across all competitions.
Liverpool sees Adeyemi as a key target to strengthen their attack. According to the report, Borussia Dortmund would be open to selling him for under €45 million.
Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg also reported that several top clubs are following Adeyemi’s situation, but potential suitors are concerned about his injury proneness. Amid the rumors, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano weighed in on the situation.
“Juventus wanted Adeyemi last summer, but since that moment when Karim decided to stay at Dortmund, nothing concrete happened,” Romano wrote in his Daily Briefing column for CaughtOffside. “We’ll see what happens in the future, but for now, I think it’s too early to be talking about him and Liverpool.”
