According to a report from Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk, former Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel could be eyeing up his next job — manager of the English national team.
That is correct, just months after being let go from Bayern Munich, Tuchel might be ready to dip his toes back into the coaching water. If true and the move comes to fruition, Tuchel would be at the helm of a team featuring Bayern Munich star Harry Kane:
The Three Lions have been in coaching limbo since sacking Gareth Southgate. Lee Carsley has been the interim manager, but after overseeing a 2-1 loss to Greece on Thursday, Carsley did not exactly bolster his chances of getting hired for the gig full-time.
Tuchel, meanwhile, was thought to be waiting for a good job to open up in the club scene. Knowing that could take a while, Tuchel could be getting the itch to take on what is regarded as a difficult job — more because of nonsense associated with it than the talent available for selection.
